When we put a simple carbon in front of us then that values nothing, but as soon as we put some pressure on that carbon then it gets converted to precious diamonds. This is what the covid-19 pandemic is going. The small new launched startup are been carbon here and the pressure applied if from covid-19, this mean the startups which can survive this pandemic in the extreme pressure will over the period of time turn to diamonds which will only have sky Is the limit.
The impact from the pandemic to the global economy is estimated to be $2 Tn. 31% of Indian startups chose layoffs as a means to reduce costs in this crisis. In recent months we have seen layoffs, hiring freezes and salary cuts across major startups in the country ranging from unicorn startups like OYO, Blackbuck, MakeMyTrip to other startups such as Limeroad, Fabhotels, Shuttl and many more. In latest report by Economic times on the impact of Covid-19 on the Indian startups, they have concluded that over 246 Indian startups have already undertaken layoffs whereas 278 startups have announced hiring freezes.
This is only a tough time for the Indian startups but once the situations is controlled all the new and the unicorn startups will come back and running telling the whole world how to survive the pandemic and come out like a diamond on to the world.
In my views the game of evaluations for a startup will be long gone as the investor will now be looking forward for more sustainable and a more longer model of operation rather than a startup which is based on the evaluation. This is what Koshika wellness Pvt Ltd is doing, It is working on the actual profits so as to give some actual returns rather than creating the evaluations.
Since the lockdown is almost over the worldwide so now is the time we can see the potential of the startup on to how the things will change and how startups can affect the lives in a positive manner.
After the lockdown people are said to be more aware on their health and fitness and this means a lot more opportunity for the healthcare and wellness sector to boom as compared to the Technological startups. So this is the right time for Koshika wellness pvt ltd to come in and make the world a better, fitter and a healthy place to live in.
These tough times are only to improve us and everyone will come out stronger in this.
